Although I have had to do some repairs along the way, it has basically been a very reliable vehicle. The turbo causes this car to run like a "bat out of hell." 115,000 miles on engine, and still going strong! Sp rting the factory aluminum rims along with Firestone-Firehawk GTA's, this car will hold the road quite well, while turning heads, too. Proud owner; and, I plan to keep this LeBaron. |

I'm the owner of a 1990 Convertible. Here in the Netherlands a LeBaron is and was a very rare and expensive car (the car that I own costed in 1990 85.000, -, wich is about 40.000 USD). Because I've loved the car since I first saw it in 1988, I was very happy when I was able to purchase one last march.We bought it as a second car, because for my work I drove in a company car, a Volvo estate. In the winter my LeBaron is stored in my garage, because the winters in the Netherlands are not suitable for a convertible. But last summer we've enjoyed driving our LeBaron every second. Currently in the process of building the engine for eating LTI and LT4 Z28's. Bone stock I was running neck-and-neck with Mustang GT's as long as I was shifting fast and kept my foot on the gas between shift's (yup, the clutch burned up). Now I have a Center-Force Dual Friction clutch, MP adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Holley 255 liter-per-hour fuel pump, Turbo II injectors, Spearco intercooler, ND-enhanced computer with boost set for 15 psi, better fuel curves and better timing, and 2.5" mandrel-bend exhaust with hollowed out cat. I have clamped the springs to lower the car 2" and also have SHELBY CSX-T 15"x6.5" 'LeMans' rims with 225/50/15 Z-rated Dunlop tires. Can't wait for summer. Windows are getting tinted neon blue -COOL!!! Oh yeah, and I only paid $1,100 for this chick magnet. Every other kid in town are always asking if I want to sell it. |
