Me and my girlfriend at the time went to Ireland in August 1999.
Out trip went as follows:
We started in Dublin. In Dublin we saw Trinity College, the Book of Kells, shopped on Grafton Street and drank lots of Guinness. we also went to the Guinness Brewery.
Next we went to Wexford to see where my father's family is from.
Our next stop was Cork When in Cork we went to see the Blarney Castle. At the castle we kissed the Blarey Stone.
From Cork we went to Kenmare in Co. Kerry. In Kenmare we saw an ancient stone circle. On our way there we stopped in Bantry. Enroute From Bantry we saw some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable as we headed into Kerry.
After Kenmare we headed to Galway.
Western Ireland offers lots of interesting and historic sites. While we were there we saw the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Kylemore Abbey, The Quiet Man Village, Inis Mor.
After Galway we headed to Cashel. In Cashel we visited the Rock of Cashel which was the seat of Munster kings for Hundreds of Years. Ireland was united under Brian Boru at Cashel. On our way to Cashel we also stopped in Cahir and visited a nice castle.
