Dignified Living Conditions

A dignified life is at the essence of our humanity. If every family in Tuguegarao City is able to provide well for the basic necessities of life, then every child is nurtured and protected; everyone is able to reach the desired human perfection; and the city becomes a real home.

The City MBN Team and City Poverty Reduction Committee closely coordinate with officials, agencies and other stakeholders, to ensure that the intended beneficiaries are reached by the City Poverty Reduction Program.

Tuguegarao City spent P2,300,571.00 for 20 Livelihood Projects for 2,081 Beneficiaries and P637,615.55 for 47 Trainings of a total of 1,925 Trainee-Graduates. The City Government also facilitated several job applicants during 2002. For the period CY 1996-2002, the economic development efforts of the Tuguegarao City Government generated, enhanced and facilitated employment as follows:
