ThE MuCh-AwAitEd Reunion....

Yoz!!! These are the comical events leading up to the moment Naoki and Kotoko are reunited after a two-year separation. Hope you have enjoyed the 'concept map'! =p

The (handsome) Naoki is now a medical student at St. Tounan University. He appears to be on very close terms with Reiko, who always links her arm through his.

One fine day, Naoki feels 'an air of weirdness' around him but cannot understand why. He has this impression that he's always hit by something invisible.

The cheerful gal is back for her nurse internship at St. Tounan Hospital. She surveys Naoki at a distance and happily exclaims that he has become much more handsome than before.

Though longing for a 'romantic reunion' with Naoki, she always gets interrupted by Reiko.

I personally feel that Reiko has also grown more mature and beautiful.

Reiko naturally/automatically links her arm through Naoki's.
Naoki smiles happily at her. (The kind which says 'happily in love')
She knows practically everything in his household.
On good terms with his family, especially his father. (But I think Machiko still disapproves of Reiko as Naoki's girlfriend/ future daughter-in-law.)
Naoki shows great concern for Reiko when she cuts her finger, but ignores Kotoko completely.
Well...they look like a couple.

Nevertheless, Naoki still chooses Kotoko in the end. Sometimes, I wonder what would Reiko's reaction be like when the truth is out. Hmmm... think I will just leave that to your imagination. ;p

Well...wherever Kotoko goes... there always seem to be some kind of trouble. This is no exception either - she accidentally splashed some urine samples all over Naoki! The latter is so shocked at seeing her there...

P.S. It is amazing to realise just how much Naoki has changed over the two years...

It's not about whether he has grown more handsome and mature...but the main difference is in the SMILE... We seldom ever get to see Naoki give a genuine happy smile in all the 8 episodes! However, after the two years span, the grin just keeps appearing on his face.
