Long time no chat. Shit, I kind of neglected this site the past year. I probably will for a little while longer.. I dunno, I wanna shorten the fricking thing down to a manageable size.. Keep the essentials like I Hate Dallas and stuff.
I know everyone has been bugging me to get the site up and going, and me and my girlfriend have been scheming a kickass Oilers site for quite sometime now, but we're both pretty lazy and stretched thin. So for now, I'll promise nothing, but rest assured I've not just cut the site loose.

I've been offered the editor position over at Oilers.fan.ca, a new Canadian sports network. You don't have to worry though. The "I Hate Dallas" stuff isn't gonna end anytime.. It may even make it's way into a more professional light on Oilers.fan.ca where even more asshole Stars fans will see it
For the time being, it's dry-bones, but I have got 1 article posted up and I plan on setting up the message board ASAP. Please stop by and give Fan.ca a shot! It's a fresh network run by 3 Canadians (not some heartless American corporation), and I wouldn't have jumped on board unless I was seriously impressed (as I've turned down many offers in the past to run forums or smaller network sites)

Hello everybody. Wow, I've been super busy but am now back! Things are looking tight for the Oilers down the stretch, but I can't wait for it. Just wanted to say hello and that I'll probably be fully updating the site sometime later this week. GO OILERS GO!!! DIE STARS DIE!!!

A welcome goes out to The Pipeline's first writer. Dan Wyatt comes with a reputation as being skeptical and controversial. Armed with occassional inside information and plenty of criticism, I look forward to Dan's articles in the future. His first article can be read in Wyatt's Word.

I'm currently making Player Profiles for all current, significant Edmonton Oilers. I'll have things like stats and info, and multimedia (for applicable Oilers). I hope to have this up by sometime next week, so check back

Congratulations go out to Stephane Robert and Tom Mascioli for taking the crown as June's top point getters on The Pipeline Trivia. Tom and Stephane aced my trivia, with a perfect score of 70 points. Well done!
Thanks to everyone who played in June; I had a record 17 people play the trivia this month, and I hope for that number to grow. For any new visitors to The Pipeline, don't be afraid to play; I make the questions medium-difficulty and everyone's assured to get at least one right (The first one's always a gimme).

I've improved the layout of the site. I plan on becoming one of the best suppliers of Edmonton Oilers information on the net. I've already started adding stories to the Oilers Newsroom, and at the start of the 2000/01 season, I'll be able to fully maintain everything on my site. But nobody can wait any longer for hockey to start up than myself...

Well, I finally finished my all-time stats of every Edmonton Oiler to ever wear the jersey. Click on history on the side bar to take a peek. As well, I've changed the link highlights from white to being underlined to solve my ever-annoying problem. If only I understood CSS a little more... sigh
Congratulations are in order to Henry Hascup for taking March's crown as The Pipeline's Trivia King. Henry beat the buzzer with an entry today, and made mincemeat out of my questions scoring 70 points. Alright Henry!
I've changed the colors of the site today. Unbeknownst to me at the time, I could not put links on my page because they came up as white, and turned blue when the mouse moved over them. That may have been fine for my navigation bar, but on the main part of my page, nobody could see my links! I hope everybody likes it, and if not, then just let me no via e-mail!
Welcome everybody to The Pipeline. I hope you enjoy the new layout for my site, and all the new features that I have. As of now, not everything is up and running, but over the next week, I plan on sprucing each section up. For the meantime, give my trivia a shot! You never know when you'll get lucky!
I am currently in the process in creating a database on the stats of every player to ever put on an Oilers Jersey, prior to the 1999/00 season. The reason I'm not making it current yet, is because this database is going to take me quite a while. Once I've finished it and have it online, I can edit the current Oilers' stats as each game progresses.
So keep checking back! Soon I hope to have a site where any hockey fan can find out information on the Edmonton Oilers!
As well, I might be making a few major changes around here. Due to all the stuff I want to have on this page, (and lack of room for more of those pretty yellow buttons up top there --^), I am considering changing the overall face of this site dramatically. I'm still in the initial design stage.
I will ask this of any browsers out there. If anybody has any clipart (cartoonish or realistic) or has a link to a site that might have some, PLEASE let me know! In keeping the Oilers' namesake true, I need some "pipe" clipart with which I can model my site around.
Hi everybody. Things are fine in Oilerland. We beat the Blackhawks last night 4-1. Heheheh... They think that they can dominate us at home! I think not!
I'm also going to be writing Oilers articles and composing trivia at hockeyRAGE.com. I've got an article up there that I hope to post on my site soon.

I changed it from being the old frames to this new layout.
Alas, this is only temporary though. I plan on making it spiffier with more
interactivity, pictures, sounds... but this is all I have the time for right now.
Just a wait a month or so... :)
