 2-1 | The Oilers open their season with an amazing, hard-fought battle against the mighty Red Wings. Salo steals the show with 33 saves.
4-3 Another win against the Wings! HAHA! Stupid old geezers!. The line of Weight-Guerin-Smyth are starting the season hot!
|  3-2 What a game! Both teams were skating and hitting, and the Oilers score 2 late goals to win the game! Guerin and Smyth display some amazing chemistry as the Oilers' top line scores the 3 goals.
|  5-3 I shouldn't rub it in too bad because they ARE an expansion team... Ahhhh, who cares!! YEAH BABY!! Another huge game from the Weight-Guerin-Smyth, as the Oilers overcome an early 2-1 deficit brought on by a humiliating first period.
|  6-1 Man, the Bruins stink! It was 4-0 before you could say Samsonov!
|  5-3 I was at this game and got on the bigscreen twice! WOO HOO! The Ducks were diving all over the place tonight and shouldn't have had the 2 powerplay goals that they did.
|  3-2 I was at this game. A very tame Battle of Alberat, especially considering Edmonton jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. The game was ruined by my drunk buddy who made an ass out of himself and had cops and ushers coming to our seats all night. UGH

| 3-1 Little Newife Cleary has a monstrous game as the Oilers all but crush the Flames playoff hopes. There'll be tears in the beers down in Cowtown. On a side note, by car bit the dust after this game, may she rest in peace.

| 5-3 Another win!!! Our 4th in a row as we knock off another Western Conference Mighty! I was at Shanks watching this game and there was a TV that was 10 seconds ahead of the big screen, so I knew when the Oil scored before anyone else.

|  4-0 WE DID IT!!! WE FINALLY DID IT!!! Little Toddy beats Belfour - Wait... This ain't Dallas. But Toddy did score a laugher on Cujo as the puck hit Smyth's helmet as Cujo was heading out of the net and toddy got a gimme. 6 in a row!!!

|  5-4 OT WE WON!!! This 2000-01 edition of the Oilers now have the most wins in a row with their 9th straight! A nail-biter with the Oilers blowing an early 3-0 lead, Rod Phillips near had an on-air orgasm as Brewer taps in a goal-mouth rebound for the record!

Hee hee! Potvin is such a lameass!! This was truly laughable! Mike Comrie has his first 2-goal performance in the NHL. Man, I'm drooling over the prospect of seeing him for a full year next year!
