Ghulam Mohammed Khan Saudagar was a very enterprising trader. At the same time he was very fond of education. This is very evident from the fact that he did BA (Bachelor of Arts) from the renowned Calcutta University in 1928. In order to educate his children he migrated to from Pusad (in Yavatmal Disctrict, Maharashtra) to Auranagad.

Ghulam Mohammed was blessed with six sons, two daughter and several more children, who died at a young age. The brothers: Khaleel Ahmed Khan, Mahmood Ahmed Khan, Hamid Ahmed KHAN (Picture), Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Manzoor Ahmed Khan and Irshad Ahmed Khan. The daughters: Aziza Khanam and Durdana Khanam.

Ghulam Mohammed Khan's third son, Hamid Ahmed KHAN (born, 1926, Picture) married Nighat Iqbal Khan (alias Khadija, Picture), the youngest daughter of Nawab Mohammed Abdul Quader (died in 1943, Picture), and the grand-daughter of Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ghani Saheb Saudagar (died in 1898, Picture). Nighat Iqbal Khan died on Saturday the 23 May 2009 (29 Rabbi-Al-Awwal 1430), in the Sultan Qaboos Hospital, Salalah, Sultanate of Oman. She was laid to rest in the Qabrastan/Makbara (Graveyard) close to the Masjid Zaweyah (see the Map) on the 23 July Street of Salalah. Hamid Ahmed KHAN died on Monday the 6 July 2009 (13 Rajab 1430), Sultan Qaboos Hospital, Salalah, Sultanate of Oman. Hamid Ahmed KHAN died forty-four days after the death of his wife, Nighat Iqbal Khan (alias Khadija, Picture). He was laid to rest on Wednesday the 8 July 2009 (16 Rajab 1430, had just begun), in the Qabrastan/Makbara (Graveyard) close to the Masjid Zaweyah (see the Map) on the 23 July Street of Salalah. Hamid Ahmed Khan's youngest son Sameen Ahmed Khan (Picture) married Noama Khan (Picture) the youngest daugher of Amirunnissa Begum, (alias Mahjabeen, Picture) and Nawab Nasiruddin Khan (alias Altaf, Picture) of Khujji. The wedding of Noama KHAN (Picture) and Sameen Ahmed Khan (Picture) took place on Thursday the 22 February 2001 (27th Ziquad 1421 Hijri) in Nagpur; they were blessed with a daughter Hajira KHAN (Picture), on Sunday the 07 November 2004 (23 Ramadan-ul-Mubarak 1425).

Ghulam Mohammed Khan Saudagar died in 1943 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
