PAL is an unincorporated team of working professionals volunteering their time and effort toward improving the level of education in the community. We are continually seeking talented working adults, host schools and programs, and individuals that can assist in the logistics of our grassroots organization.
The following are some ways that you can help:
Become a PAL Catalyst. Volunteer in a classroom environment where you control the flow of the activity. As a PAL Catalyst, not only are you facilitating a workshop, you are implanting the seeds of knowledge within students that have the potential to germinate into the careers of the future. Activities will ideally cater to your professional background so you can share your expertise with the generations of tomorrow.
Become a host school or host youth program. PAL is currently seeking opportunities to work with children in a group classroom environment. Our activities are designed for students grades 6-8, but are flexible enough to cater to other grade levels.
Become a PAL Administrative Specialist. PAL cannot function without the administrative assistance of volunteer specialists. You can assist in such duties as: Activity Development, Marketing Assistance, Workshop Review, Web Design and Maintenance, Graphic Design, Legal Counsel, Accounting, Fundraising and Volunteer Recruitment.
Serve on the Advisory Board. PAL appreciates the guidance of industry gurus that can act as counsel for matters such as Education and Non-profit Administration.
General Support. Since PAL is not incorporated, we depend on the generous support of others for continued improvement and sustainability.
