Riverview-Ranch Proudly Presents...
the critters!!

my barn

The barn where all the critters live!

The main goal Riverview-Ranch is to raise happy, healthy animals. All goats at Riverview-Ranch are CAE and Johne's negative and we have never had any abscesses. Every spring I draw the blood for CAE & Johne's testing and send it to Washington for testing. The goats are vaccinated, wormed, and have their hooves trimmed as needed. I administer all of the vaccinations, wormers, and do castrating, tattooing, and disbudding on the kids. I raise the kids on a CAE prevention program, which means bottle feeding heat-treated colostrum and pasteurized milk. I like to do some showing if I get a chance, and was at the 1998 ADGA National show in St. Paul. I have participated in HES, so I have scores on some of my goats. I haven't done in the past two years because I have so few animals. Of course, my critters are spoiled rotten too!
