Me with my then boyfriend now husband, Kevin

Wow...it's (obviously) been a *really* long time since I've done anything with my web page. I don't have any goats right now, so I just haven't kept it updated. Some of you are probably wondering what's been going on with me, though, so here's an update:
Kevin and I ended up getting married on June 7, just shy of three months after we got engaged. Our original plan was to get married in June of 2005, but, well, we got tired of living four hours away from each other. We planned our wedding in six days and are living happily ever after!
We now live in the Twin Cities metro area. Neither one of us much likes living in the city, but we both have jobs here and we have affordable housing, so we can't complain too much. We both did a stint working at Wal-Mart and have moved on to bigger and better things. I learned a lot working at Wal-Mart, but, well, let's just say I'd be happy if I never worked there again. It was a job and it paid the bills, for which I am thankful. I now work at a dog kennel and as a nanny - both are jobs I enjoy. Kevin's back in his field again - weather - and he's enjoying that.
In the summer of 2005, we got a Collie puppy. I'd been wanting a Collie since my last one passed away and Kevin told that at some point I could get one. Our little ball of fluff is now a 57# ball of fluff and is, like every other animal I've owned, spoiled rotten (I mean, well-loved!). Kenna is sable-and-white ("Lassie colored"). Her confirmation leaves a bit to be desired if you're one who shows Collies, but she's a wonderful pet. She loves to play fetch and swim - two things none of my other Collies have ever shown an interest in. You can see some pictures of Kenna at: Kenna's Dogster Page
As for other critters, I still have two tanks of fish. Miss Dancer is also still with us (as in living, not with us in our apartment). A dear friend of mine is taking care of her for me (thanks!). Dancer turned twelve this March. My parents (who have sold the farm and moved) still have our old farm dog, Pokey.
My "little" sister, who always insists on being mentioned on my page (as well she ought to - she helped me out with my goats a lot when we were growing up) is now married. She got married about seven months after Kevin and I did and now resides about three hours from us. She lives on a farm and has horses and dogs.
