Many aspirants are trying to catch the taste of her house made Pancit Malabon but neither of these contenders captured the great original taste.
Miss Rosy Pacheco or Aling Rosy for short is entitled as the Queen of Pancit Malabon . Her cooking skills is said to be a “work of love” which she got by the sweat of one's brow from her mother.

In Hulong Dagat, Malabon, corner of A. Bonifacio and C. Arellano, Mrs. Felisa Sueco, her mother together with her father, Mr. Silvestre Pacheco had only a small store made of three pieces of yero(galvanized iron), a bamboo pole and a platform which were used as utensils to put up revenue. The workers of Marcelo Rubber Shoes haunted the said store. Tiya Binyang and Tiya Leonora, sisters of Mrs. Felisa Sueco also helped and contributed a lot in the small business.

The feat of Aling Rosy started only with her interest in helping her parents. She had assisted her mother, and was not abashed in carrying utensils, in holding smelly seasonings and to make her hands dirty as charcoal gets into her skin. During the death of Aling Felisa in 1951, her eldest daughter, Rosy, after whom the restaurant was named, took over and started the business at home. She accepted made to order Pancit Malabon until it reached the cities nearby like Manila, Olonggapo, Zambales, Pampanga, Laguna and many more.

The secret behind this triumph why such well-known people and gourmets pop in the store is that they have their own way of cooking Pancit Malabon. The noodles are specially made; the ingredients are fresh and of good quality; oysters are from Cavite as well as the shrimps and crabs, chicharon, tinapa , garlic from Batanes, duck eggs, patis(fish sauce) and calamansi(lemon). They are the one who really prepare all these ingredients and make sure that before it goes out, it would be definitely enticing. If one's interest is cooking, he or she must be proficient first with our own delicacies because if we are erudite enough, it's easier to cook foreign recipes.
Well, its famous clienteles are the Tanchancos, Enriles, Cojuancos, Cosetengs, Madrigals and even foreigners. Ms. Lalaine Ve , 2 nd Runner Up-Miss Philippines-International used to visit the store that according to her, Aling Rosy serves with a smile.
