As our team visited the store located at Cuatro Cantos, Malabon, we were overwhelmed and surprised by the warm welcome of hospitability shown by the people. First is Mr. Rey Tan who stopped off to the place just to have a meal. Take note, he's not from Malabon but because of Aling Rosy's scrumptious Pancit Malabon, he's worth it. Next is Mr. Servando C. Peña, 66 years old and a resident of Brgy. Concepcion, Malabon who had just finished his meal. When we were having our colloquy, they interfered and asked what we are doing. We answered them that we were conducting an interview and research as well about the place. Mr. Peña did not hesitate to impart his viewpoint for our questions. He told that he's certainly proud to be a subordinate of Malabon, “Pancit Malabon has a global potential because I have friends and relatives in Los Angeles, California that are dying to eat our very own pancit.” In connection with the first ever Pancit Malabon Festival, we asked him for his commentary on the said event. He said that the people are very enthusiastic. People of Malabon have really prepared for this big event because it was the first celebration and he's hoping that this festival would probably be celebrated annually to showcase the ingenuity of the people of Malabon in cooking and preparation of Pancit Malabon.
Indeed, Aling Rosy's Pancit Malabon is truly a Malabon's pride that not only the people of Malabon should be proud of it but the entire nation!
