A Meta Tag analyzer was added on My Download Page. Many updates are being experimented with in the file manager. I am going through the pages and cleaning up dead links. It is a slow process. The More Links is being completely redesigned.

October 9, 1998@4:51AM PDT

I finished installing all the link exchange code on my site for the new sized banner.

October 7, 1998@9:10PM PDT

Started the change over to the new sized link exchange banners. About 60 pages to do and I finished 16 tonight. It is an arduous task. Not as tedious as changing the geoguides when they went to a non-java format, but still time consuming. My goal is to complete the change over on every page by this weekend.

August 14,1998@4:32AM PDT

Added the poem: Passing the Time

July 31,, 1998@11:45PM PDT

March 22, 1998@9:54AM PST

After a long hiatus, I complete the introduction page. It is simple and loads quickly...giving the visitor a choice of entry pages.

February 24, 1998@11:51PM PST

I believe I have finally converted all the old geoguides to tables at the bottom of most of the pages. The older guides allowed links to be put on each page along with a search engine and other nice features. While they were in java and they did take awhile to load, I miss then in many ways. I have to agree, however, that they were slow to load. You can now find some search engines on the page "Other Links". You will also find many VERY interesting and informative links there.

January 23, 1998@7:37PM PST

Some time ago Geocities replaced the Java geoguides. Certainly, the new guides load more quickly, but I had roughly 240 links in those guides! These took me months to find, let alone put them into the guides. Several things in my personal life have kept me from spending the time I usually do on this site. Tonight I began in earnest to replace the links in a new table format at the bottom of each page. I will continue to do this until all the links are back on the pages. It is a long and tedious process and will take about a month. For those of you who have visited these pages and find this documentation, thank you for being patient.

October 21, 1997@07:58AM PDT

All new buttons and a smaller bitmap have been added to the index page.

Also, another button was created for my "more links page" and a link to the new section on space flight was added to the bitmap. I have a lot of research left to do on the space flight section. It is far from complete.

October 14, 1997@12:30AM PDT

All the links in the geoguide on Route 66 are filled.

I am very pleased with the links I found here including: T.S. Eliot, Walt Whitman, Dylan Thomas and Rudyard Kipling.

The six links on the first page of graphic arts loop is completed.

September 11, 1997@09:44PM PDT

Geoguide on "Extenuating Cirumstances" is filled

The first six poetry links are completed in the geoguide mentioned above. The index page is completed with a link to the Web Ring Page. The Geocities Ring is reinstalled there.

September 10, 1997@08:26PM PDT

A completely new index page has gone up

The old problem still haunts me! I keep building this huge opening pages that take too long to load, but this time I think I have built a page that I can live with. The Geocities Ring is temporarily offline, but will be back up soon.

August 28, 1997@05:42PM PDT

Roaming Free goes through 6th modification

Starting to get the depiction I want with my electronic art. Also, last night I added another animated gif to the index page.

August 24, 1997@07:36AM PDT

Adding sound embed for Internet Explorer today to pages that have midi files

To accomodate my friends that use Internet Explorer, I am adding the additional sound embed statements for that browser. You still get the "plugin failed to initialize" statement, but you will hear the music! Also, I am on a mission to fill the geoguides and I am happy to announce that if you need help on your pages, I will be happy to share what I know for free provided that you are with geocities.

August 16, 1997@10:43PM PDT

Finished the graphics for the internal links

I finished the graphics for the loops on this site and installed them all. Also, I did a few things to practice on Paint Shop Pro. The site is more uniform than ever, but I would have designed it much differently had I to do it again.

August 9, 1997@11:14AM PDT

Added the first of many scripts planned.

In the photography loop section I added some script to the opening photograph. It is far from complete, but it is a start. None of these scripts are finished and of course, a well written text takes very much time and planning.

August 8, 1997@02:23AM PDT

Shortened the entry page today.

However, now the continuity of the site is very weak. I will work on organizing what I have done and again making it easier to use. Applied for membership in the HTML writers Web Ring today and have the ring already in place.

August 05, 1997@11:13PM PDT

Photographs of Paris added to photo loop

The photo disk from Kodak came in today and I added several photographs to the loop. This was about an eleven hour job and the scripts are incomplete. I still have more pictures to add, but that is enough for one day. It was a lot of work and I am very tired. Many ideas have come to mind and it feels as though I have a fresh breath.

August 03, 1997@04:38AM PDT

Clean up of Geoguides

I have closed my site at AOL. Trying to concentrate on the ones I have going well. Geocities is coming along nicely, but it is still very ponderous. It is time to break up the index page again into a smaller page that loads more quickly. I must first remove the links to my old AOL site and this is a large task that tends to be tedious. Seems like I have been doing a lot of that lately!

July 30, 1997@06:46PM PDT

Download Center is cleaned up a bit.

To make it a little bit more understandable. There is still so much to do with the geoguides that it is overwhelming. I have not backed of from my desire to fill them all with quality links, but the search takes time. Meanwhile, here and there I add pages. I fear the site has become ponderous once again and as I stated in the original web site update, sometimes I just want to start all over! So much time was spent on the keywords that I wonder if it wasn't a waste of time. I have long wanted to start the section on physics, but so many of my papers are missing.

July 24, 1997@07:58PM PDT

New Section Started (see "Features of the Web Site")

Tonight I added a new section that I have had in mind. Being as I am out of assigned Link Exchange banner numbers they are not on this page. However, I am moving to rememedy this problem. There are three new links in the geoguides, however and I have added one more in the geoguide in the lyrics section called: "Solitary Motion".

July 24, 1997@11:58AM PDT

Geocities Web Ring! This site officially added to the queue.

After a long wait this site was finally added to the queue. I am glad that I waited and this is a very nice ring. A valuable addition to this site. Thank you Geocities and all concerned parties. Also, the link exchange has accepted my banner and this site is now active with the link exchange.

July 20, 1997@3:42PM PDT

Geoguide on index page is completed.

Filling the last two slots with Europe Online and a connection to French Televison and Radio has completed the introductory geoguide. Some links may change, but this has been a long task to complete.

Search for links for geoguides continues

The search to fill the geoguides continues. I want all the guides to have unique and different links. This is a very ambitious project that will take a very long time. They will all be unique and pertain to the page that they are on. Since nobody reads this page anyway, with the exception of the rare few, let the others all be confused! **hehe** To those of you who are reading this on your own: Thank you! The world needs some more citizens like you. You don't have to read it all. Nor would I expect you to. But, you are a special person that seeks the truth! I hope that you may find great happiness in your life and that all your troubles are few!

July 8, 1997@4:57AM PDT

Radical overhaul of the index!

After seven hours straight work: the problem of slow loading is resolved by breaking the index into three parts. There is an addition of a new page and there will be more coming. Site should be more accessable to older and slower browsers. Another page waits in the file manager called: Tools of the trade. Final refinements of the Basilque du Sacré Couer to take place tomorrow. Totally exhausted and I'm off to bed. Should also add at least one more page in the afternoon. Site has gone from 1.7 megs in operation and storage to 2.3 megs in less than 36 hours. Many scripts need improving and there is still much to do.

July 5, 1997@8:23AM PDT

Slow loading time back!

That is the way it is. To portray the opening to this site through my eyes, it was neccesarry. I suggest that you get a CPU that will allow a quicker loading time. (i.e. 133mgHZ minimum, but preferably 166mgHz+)

July 3, 1997

Web Site achieves 10 meg status!

Today I was surprised when I went into the file manager and discovered that my check had been processed and the site suddenly had some room for expansion. I had been fighting this problem for weeks.
Link exchange added. Became a member of the HTML WRITERS GUILD yesterday.
