The evening before - Friday, May 28
|

| Jaap Vriesendorp, Patricia's father, will be
hosting an informal gathering on Friday late afternoon for those who would
like to get in touch with each other before the wedding and gather
information. Trish and Peter will
show up - time permitting. We will be meeting for coffee and drinks at
Mani's: cafe & wine bar. It is located right next to the bus stop and
across from the train station. Feel free to stop by for any amount of
time starting approximately around 4:00. |

The day after - Sunday, May 30

| Johannes Vriesendorp, Trish's brother, will
organize an excursion on Sunday afternoon after the wedding. To allow people
to start their day leisurely after the festivities the night before,
activities will start approximately around 13:30 - 14:00. More information
will be handed out at the weekend of the wedding. However, to give you a
preview, we are considering the following options: Hike above Thun
A hike down from the hills above Thun/Hunibach, through forest with
occasional scenic views out onto the lake and surrounding Bernese Alps. A
car pool will be arranged to the starting point.
Midget golf
A midget golf course is located along the lake nearby the castle of
Oberhofen. It is easily accessible by the bus and boat.
Museum
Visiting a local museum (either an
art museum or a
castle) in Thun. You can catch the bus from your hotel and then
afterwards walk to the cafe.
Drinks afterwards
Following these activities we would like to meet up again around 16:30 -
17:00 for swapping stories over coffee or drinks at a cafe in Thun.
