The video from 1987 was a training video for young attorneys. Jack McMahon explains how to select a jury which is most likely to convict, which requires to exclude most of the black jurors. The video has been published in 1997 when McMahon was Lynne Abraham's oponent in the election of the District Attorney. As a result, he had to withdraw.
Judge Yohn refused to accept the video as evidence because it has been produced five years after the Abu-Jamal trial. However, Abu-Jamal's lawyers mentioned it during oral argument on 17 May 2007. The video tape does not exonerate Abu-Jamal but it helps to explain why so many people did not trust the prosecution.
Picture quality is rather poor because it's based on a copy of an old video tape.
