PARK CITY
TRAIN EXPO

On Saturday August 31, 1996
the sHOw TRAIN EXPO will
be featured during Labor Day
festivities at Park City
Kentucky. All members are
asked to work on painting and
reapairing the club corner
modules on Thursday night
August 22. If you need help
with your module be there.
Some modules do not meet club
standards. No module will be
shown which does not conform
to the standards. All
backboards must be painted
charcoal gray semi-gloss. The
club has purchased the paint
and on Thursday you can paint
your backboard. On August 31
we will be at the Square Deal
Lumber Company in Park City.
Delivery and set up will be at
7:30 AM SHARP! Saturday
morning. If you are not there at
that time don't expect your
module to be included. All
members who have modules
accepted for the EXPO should
sign up for times to host and or
run trains. The EXPO will
begin at 10:00 AM and
continuetill 5:00 PM. Be sure
to be there at 5:00 PM to
remove your modules and
HELP take down the club
modules. Lots of family
activities are planned for the
event. See you there.

Street in Bowling Green.

NMRA
NEWS

John Welther attended the
NMRA convention in Claifornia.
John did a clinic on General
Electirc modern Locomotive
production. His classic diesel
models won 1st and 2rd in the
Railroad Prototype Modelers
contest. He represented Model
Railroad News at the trade show.

Park City EXPO!!!!

Minutes

The sHOw MODULAR
MODEL RAILROAD CLUB
met at Butler Motors, 710
College Street at 10:00 AM
Saturday August 3, 1996 with
President Daavid Boyd
presiding. Plans for the Park
City EXPO were discussed and
club standards will be enforced.
Only modules meeting the club
standards will be shown. In the
past we have overlooked some
non-standard modules and this
caused some operational and
appearance problems. If your
module is in need of correction
take care ot it.
Charles Hoagan will check into
the possibility of an EXPO after
Christmas in the Greenwood
Mall (1st choice) or Bowling
Green Mall (2nd choice).
Treasurer reported $124.76 in
the treasury.
Secretary will send notice to
Model Railroader and Model
Railroading magazines
announcing events and open
memberships
