About Perry Township
Historic Lincoln Way Links

The Lincoln Way is more than just a busy road that runs thru Perry Township.  It's more than the fastest way from Canton to Massillion.  The Lincoln Highway is in fact the first paved highway to run from New York to San Francisco, some 3400 miles.  The initial idea was developed by Carl Fisher, the man responsible for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, as a tribute to President Lincoln.

The Lincoln Way Corridor Association is very aware of this historic legacy.  We invite you to learn more by visiting some of these websites for information, photos, and other resources regarding our historic highway.

This is the Link to the Ohio Chapter of the Lincoln Highway Association, and is a great resource for information in the Lincoln Highway.

This study is being conducted cooperatively with the National Park Service's National Center for Cultural Resources, four regions of the National Park Service-- the Midwest, Intermountain, Pacific West/Great Basin, and Northeast, the Federal Highway Administration and, through cooperative agreement, with the Organization of American Historians and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

To purchase a wide array of Lincoln Highway Memorabilia, then you MUST visit the new Lincoln Highway Trading Post.

A wonderful historic resource on the Lincoln Way, complete with photos and maps.
