The Lincoln Way is more than just a busy road that runs
thru Perry Township. It's more than the fastest way from Canton to
Massillion. The Lincoln Highway is in fact the first paved highway
to run from New York to San Francisco, some 3400 miles. The initial
idea was developed by Carl Fisher, the man responsible for the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway, as a tribute to President Lincoln.
The Lincoln Way Corridor Association is very aware of this
historic legacy. We invite you to learn more by visiting some of these
websites for information, photos, and other resources regarding our historic
highway.
