Family Stories are pages on which the life story of one or more family members can be told.

Certain family members have been sent copies of the pages that have been developed for the purpose of providing an audit on the contents and deciding what if anything can be published. Once their input  has been obtained and any corrections and/or adjustments required made the new pages will appear.

As is the case for all members of the family only those who are deceased can feature on these pages unless a living member of the family provides express permission to place his/her details up on the web.

The aim of these pages is to ensure that the memories that are stored with one family member are capable of being shared by others in the family. As information is published and a family member has a different recollection and/or additional memories and information to add, then that opportunity is available to them. Send additional information so that it can be considered, checked and added to the existing documentation. Alternately if there are inconsistencies or errors then please correct the information already published and send the corrections along to me. In this way the most up to date and accurate information is available for researchers and for family members.

There are also stories that may impact on people who are still living and who are somewhat reluctant to have their material made available publicly on the web - but who would like to have this available for the information of family members only. For example - in my case I have made available some carefully researched and well documented information on the life and times of my parents accompanied with copies of the relevant pictures, archival footage, copies of original records etc. These would provide too much information for public display and so are currently held elsewhere and in a more secure facility.

Family members who  wish to have access to this information either on-line or in a more concrete form for their own records are welcome to contact me and ask for access rights. I am afraid that I do not and will not give access to original documents or photos that I have spent a considerable amount of time and effort finding gathering and validating. So please do not ask for them as a refusal may offend.
