Calvento Files, The Movie |
First episode: Balintuwad
Second episode: Inay, May Momo
The big-screen version of the hit crime drama anthology on primetime television is a twinbill. The first episode deals on an epileptic who was raped and killed on the night she sneaked out to watch from afar a prom her sister refused to tag her along to. What's shocking is the identity of the perpetrators who happened to be schoolteachers - the very people parents are supposed to feel completely safe to entrust their children to outside the abode. The second episode enacts the terror that a young mother along with her daughter suffered in the hands of a spurned lover who hacked to death her husband one fatal evening after a drinking spree. Their ordeal does not end there. Practically held hostage, the widow and her traumatized girl continue to be hounded by an obviously deranged man in an attempt to scare them off into dropping charges against him.
