Australian National Botanic Gardens
The aim of the ANBG is to "grow, study and promote Australia's flora" - and this site seems to have it all! Topics include growing Australian plants, the use of plants by Australian Aboriginals, floral emblems of Australia, information and material for teachers, students and the more serious botanist.

Kings Park and Botanic Garden
This park is the most important recreational parkland and urban bushland in Western Australia. It is unique because of its size, its remnant bushland and significant cultural heritage, its far ranging vistas, and its proximity to the centre of the city of Perth. The site contains pictures of the park, volunteer information, a calendar of upcoming events and activities, and plant facts.

Norfolk Island Botanic Gardens

Paronella Park Heritage Gardens
Built on 5 hectares (13 acres) of rainforest beside Mena Creek Falls in tropical north Queensland, Paronella Park heritage gardens was created in the 1930's by Jose Paronella. If you enjoy the experience, you can also stay in the caravan park. The website has information on how to book, as well as pictures of the tropical setting.

Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney
Established in 1816 and located in central Sydney, The Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney is Australia's oldest botanic gardens, and is dedicated to research, education and display. The official website has general information on the park, however an unofficial and very graphical website has been created by Igor Saktor which enables you to "tour" the gardens.

Sub-Tropical Gardens of Palm Fascinations
Based in Nambour, Queensland, this rich sub-tropical garden has been created in just over a decade and features palms, cycads and cordylines as well as many other plants. The website contains a tour through the garden and a landscape gardening forum.
