Years in Litmag: This is my first year on staff.
What are your roles? - I am a reviewer, and have written for Litmag in the past.
Why did you join/write for the literary magazine? I joined because it was an understated extracurricular activity that certainly deserves more attention. People have lost an interest in literature...or so it seems. However I believe that there are countless (students) that write and don't come forth because it's not a popular activity like sports. I wrote because I wanted to share my words, my views, and talent (I hope), in hopes of showing people a side of me that they had yet to see.
How do you feel you had an affect, if any, on the magazine? - I would hope that i've had an affect in terms of imprinting a personal style or "flavor."
How many of your pieces were put into the literary magazine so far? Three, if I remember correctly.
What are your future goals? How do you think the literary magazine will have a place within accomplishing those goals? - In the near future, I aspire to attend a renowned college/university, obtain a degree and get further education to one day practice orthodontics. I would hope that Litmag adequately contributes to my resume, showing my dedication, extra curricular activities, etc. Also, I would hope that it would hone my writing skills necessary for college applications.
Closing comments? Goooooooo Litmag!!!
