Benefits

Being a leader is not an onerous job and there are benefits. These include:

reimbursement of reasonable expenses for doing a pre-outing,
reimbursement of 50% of the costs of doing a First Aid Course,
reimbursement of 100% of the costs of doing a first Aid course or refresher course if you lead 5 or more walks in a calendar year, and
access to brochures, maps and notes held by the Club.

Draft Extended Calendar

A draft calendar in PDF format going to the end of the year is available. Notify the Outings Officer if you would like to add a walk.

Abseiling Waiver Forms

An Abseil Waver Form needs to be signed by each participant (or by a parent/guardian if the participant is less than 18 years of age) prior to any Club event that involves abseiling. This is an Insurance requirement.

There are two Abseil Waiver Forms available.

On the Adult Abseil Waver Form there is room for up to 5 people to sign. If multiple people sign the one form, ensure that there is adequate time for each person to read the waiver.

If a person under 18 years of age is participating then the parent or guardian must sign the Parent or Guardian Abseil Waver Form. This form has room for only one signature.

Have spare copies of the Waiver Form available if a person wishes to keep a copy of the Waiver Form for his/her own reference.
