How do I stop the auto formatting in MSWord?

  1. Double click on Tools…Autocorrect
  2. Click on the Autoformat tab to remove the automatic bulleted list, automatic numbered list, and other options
  3. Click on the Autocorrect tab to turn on and off the function to capitalize.
  4. Click on Tools..Options
  5. Click on the spelling and grammar tab to select automatic spell check and other features

How do I delete a file?

  1. Click on Word 2000.
  2. Click on File…Open.
  3. Click on the down arrow in the long skinny box at the top of the screen and select your directory (your login name on the server).
  4. Click on the file name to delete.
  5. Click on the X on the toolbar.

How do you format a disk?

  1. Put your disk in the drive.
  2. Double click on My Computer.
  3. Click on a:.
  4. Click on File…Format disk.
  5. Follow on screen instructions.

How do I create a folder in my directory?

  1. Double click on Word.
  2. Click on File…Open.
  3. Click on the new folder icon (yellow folder with an *).
  4. Type the name of the new folder and click OK.
  5. Click on the light blue arrow pointing to the left.
  6. Repeat  steps 2-5 for each new folder.
