How do I stop the auto formatting in MSWord?
- Double
click on Tools…Autocorrect
- Click
on the Autoformat tab to remove the automatic bulleted list, automatic
numbered list, and other options
- Click
on the Autocorrect tab to turn on and off the function to capitalize.
- Click
on Tools..Options
- Click
on the spelling and grammar tab to select automatic spell check and other
features

How do I delete a file?
- Click
on Word 2000.
- Click
on File…Open.
- Click
on the down arrow in the long skinny box at the top of the screen and
select your directory (your login name on the server).
- Click
on the file name to delete.
- Click
on the X on the toolbar.

How do you format a disk?
- Put
your disk in the drive.
- Double
click on My Computer.
- Click
on a:.
- Click
on File…Format disk.
- Follow
on screen instructions.

How do I create a folder in my directory?
- Double
click on Word.
- Click
on File…Open.
- Click
on the new folder icon (yellow folder with an *).
- Type
the name of the new folder and click OK.
- Click
on the light blue arrow pointing to the left.
- Repeat steps 2-5 for each new folder.
