Many people think that this game sucks and is easy. Well you know what? It's actually those people that suck. They get a shot of Mew and watch the credits roll by, probably turning it off before they can. Then they'll say something like "Man, that game was easy." Well you know what? It's not easy! There is no end to Pokémon Snap, there will always be tons of scores to beat. I can honestly say I've only beaten four of the level challenge scores (something you unlock at the end of the game) but I am a grand master with taking pictures. I haven't got huge, gigantic scores with all of the Pokémon, but with a lot of them I have. Have you ever gotten a Mew shot worth 10,000 points? Or a Goldeen worth 4400? Or even a shot of Doduo worth 4400? I have gotten all those scores, so next time you try to dis Snap, just think about how 'easy' it was.
And onto other things, like the graphics. The graphics of this game (yes I can admit) were not the best in the world, but were still pretty good. I don't exactly have much more to say about that.
I think I'll talk about how fun this game is... incredibly fun. One of the best qualities of this game is the Pokémon Album, which you fill up with fun shots. I filled mine up to the max and to this day can't let go of any of them. I searched high and low for Pokémon that had their eyes shut tight and and their fists clenched, then I named them something that might be a little inappropriate for here (LOL.) The game has other fun qualities too, such as making all the Pokémon dance with the pokéflute and seeing how they react to pester balls and apples. You can also (probably not anymore though) go down to Blockbuster and print out for of your shots (four of each four you choose!) At least I got my four best pictures printed out, which would be my 10,000 point Mew, 9000 (somewhere around there) Jigglypuff group shot, my electric Pikachus and my Magmars flaming each other.
Overall, this game was really great, I highly suggest you buy it for 40 or so bucks instead of wasting your money on Pokémon Stadium (See Stadium review for details) which at this time costs $60 at FuncoLand.
