On Eagles

Eagles make my favourite animal list because of  their royal look. They are very loyal animals as I heard. This animal is known for its appearance in the United States of America. Famous but never the less deadly.

This majestic bird is found across all of southern Canada, but is most common on the Pacific coast. The bald eagle is also found in Alaska and the rest of the United States. The adult eagle can be noticed by the white found on its head and neck, which takes about four years to get. Adult males body are about of 75 to 85 cm and their wingspan is 180 to 213 cm but the females are slightly larger.

The bald eagle is a scavenger and not a predator, and eats mainly fish. It is most commonly found along coasts where cast-offs provide most of its food. It occasionally makes its own kills, and, when fish are not available, it may eat a few birds. The population of the bald eagle has lowered so much its almost extinct.
