considered Probe kind of people. Between my fiancée and
myself, we own or have owned FOUR
Probes! On November 4, 1996, I purchased a new 1996 Boysenberry Blue Probe GT. This photo was taken the day after I purchased it. This was the Probe that got me started with the performance craze. You can get an idea of what I had to begin with.

| On May 14, 1997, I was involved in an accident. My '96 Probe was
determined to be a total loss with more than $10K in
damage! After more than two weeks searching for a Boysenberry Blue replacement, I had given up and on June 19, I decided on a 1997 Probe GT-S. The new Probe is Laser Red with black racing stripes, black interior, chrome wheels, spoiler, and a 5-speed tranny. |

My fiancée, Melissa, also seems to be a
Probe buff.  Her very first car was a 1989
Probe GL. It was purchased used in 1991 with a mere 28K
miles on the odometer. Six years later, we still have the
car! We have had absolutely no mechanical problems with
that car at all although the A/C has been a pain on and
off. The engine itself still runs great!This is car number two for her....a 1997 Probe GT in Sahara Gold. I find it interesting that her only two cars happen to be the first year and last model years of the Probe!? Hmmm.... |

This section contains modifications that I have made to my
Probe GT or GT-S. Melissa has made it clear that I am not allowed
to make any
modifications to her PGT! Maybe we can at least get
"His" and "Hers" license plates...
As you all know, money is the limiting factor to most things in life and this is no exception. So if you think that this page looks bare, that's why!
I was able to salvage my GReddy exhaust system and Akimoto intake from the wrecked '96 and they have found their new home in the '97. The Eibach springs, unfortunately, were unable to be removed. Insurance will reimburse me for them however.
As you may imagine, this page will slowly have new additions as I make new mods.
