Prices
are for 1.5 hour slots per week - if you book all three weeks, you can
hire any amount of time in 5 minute segments. If you are only doing
one or two weeks you need to book by 30 minute segments, unless we can
match you up with a group in the other weeks booking the same amount of
time.

The time you hire
includes your get in and get out time. Please remember to give
yourself at least 10 minutes get in and 5 minutes get out, and more if you
need it. If your show is technically complicated, you need to adjust
lights or change gel colours, or you have a large set - you need to book
more time for get in! Please be realistic. If you go over your
time you will be fined. It's easier to be realistic from the
beginning. (We have to fine companies for running late because, if
your show runs late, it will ultimately cause all the shows the rest of the
day to be late. But we'd rather not have to fine anyone!) |

- If
your time spans between two categories or if you require a different
length, the price will be calculated proportionately.

- Additional: Because of
the extra cost of shows performing only one or two weeks, please add
the additional amount to the above:
Shows performing 2 weeks add 10% - if you perform 2 full weeks, plus the
preview weekend, or bank holiday weekend, this fee will be waived.
Shows performing 1 week - if your one week is in week 1 or 3 add 15%, if
your one week is during week 2 add 20% (too many bookings in week two make
it difficult to book two week productions).

Process of Booking:
- Fill out an application. This includes a place for your top
three desired time slots, and your preferred venue locations.
- If you are chosen you will receive a letter of acceptance, a venue
and an approximate time placement, and a contract. (The time is
approximate because shifting may still occur to fit all the shows in
their correct time lengths. You will not be shifted more
than an hour, and usually 30 minutes or less - if at all.)
- You will be given a deadline to accept the offer before we offer it to
other companies. If you do not accept by the deadline given, it may
still be possible to get that time slot at a later date if no one else has been
offered it, or we may be able to offer you another similar time slot.
- To accept the offer you must return the contract with a deposit.
The deposit for the Main Theatre is £500, and for the Studio is £250.
- Deposits are non-refundable.

*Rehearsals
- Recently we have had to introduce a charge for rehearsals at South
Bridge Resource Centre as the Edinburgh City Council has significantly
raised their janitor overtime fees. There
is now a £20 charge per hour. This
charge will be dropped if you can schedule a time that is not on
Sunday. We apologise for this charge, but matters have been taken out
of our hands.
