Now you
should be able to assemble all created parts of your room. This particular
picture uses the Brick balcony portion from the Pillar and Balcony Tutorial. If
you did not make it is included in the UFO Zip Room parts. |
|
Various ways to use
these Pillars and Balcony parts can be found at the Pillar and Balcony Tutorial and the
Round Chapel Wallpaper There is a special sized UFO
Pillar Zip file at the bottom of this page. Examine the Finished picture on
page one of this tutorial. |
Place your ceiling so that the right wide point is centered
at 70 V. Ceiling Trim is to be centered in front of the ceiling. Place your
right wide point of the floor at 330 V. Floor Trim should be placed on top and
centered of Floor. Brick floor should be between Floor and Walls. Adjust how
much you want it to show and where you want to place Pillars. With
Pick Tool select ceiling, ceiling trim, left wall, floor and floor trim and
balcony. Use the Align/Left. Select with Pick Tool again the rest of the
objects instead of left wall pick right wall and use the
Align/Right. You can now crop the picture to finish your Round Room
Illusion. Select the Crop Tool: Put in Left:70, Top:70, Width:370, Height:420.

Various
ways to decorate your round room |
1. Insert a stain glass window such as the one shown in Finished picture. It
was created with the Continue Draw Tutorial. Create a quick
stainglass picture such as the Parable of the Ninety and
Nine Sheep using Rosie's Suncatcher tutorial. Link on the reference web
page. 2. You can draw a simple two French doors using the Outline Path
tool/Rectangle and Line/Arrow Path tool for an open Patio scene.
3.
Put up curtains over doors or window. If you use them on a curve use the
ceiling and floor as a guide utilising the Perspective tool under the Resize
tool button. It is easier to fit each panel separately. Draw your own drapes
using a Tutorial at Tena's http://www2.fwi.com/~williams/tena.html. This is one
of the many tutorials listed at Deb's Newbies.
4. Find a favorite scene
or create one of your own and place it on the bottom layer behind your doors or
one large Picture window.
5. Use the Lasso selector on a wedding
couple. Convert to an object and insert them into the picture and give it to
them for wallpaper for their computer. As an example, I submitted to PIRC
Challenge for April this picture.
6. Experiment with different shapes such as the custom ray
or wheel for a open beam effect on your ceiling. Or use the custom solid round
shape four and stretch it to fit on your marble pillars overlaping the edges
for a more classical Greek motif. Some of these ideas are used in my In My Father's House wallpaper. . |
The Room Decorations that appear
in the finished picture on Page one of this tutorial are: Ceiling light, Desk Set,
Lite Candle
Holder, Vase
with Lilies and Special size pillar. These are UFO Zip
files.
