On the Path Attribute bar click Mode and then 2d object.
Select the Material tab. Click Gallary on Preview Window. Then scroll to the 3D
Collection and select White. This will give you the attributes of 3d Trim/
color- white/ Border:23, Depth: 10/ Shading -Prong , Shineness:80,
Strength:70. |

At this point you can decided if you will be using a
open door at the far end of the room or a closed opening. Dark shades produced
by a source of light are controlled by the Light attribute. This setting is for
a closed room but with a focus on a lighted object such as a stainglass window.
Experiment to get the shadow effect you need. |
Make sure Highlight Point is on in Left box above preview
window. Select light 1 Spot and move red dots to the lower half. Use Direct for
light 2 move red dots to lower half of circle. UNCHECK Shadow.
Use
the Add button to save this preset to your Material Gallery.

Now is a good time to File/ Save
as...
Save the ceiling as an object in your Image
Gallery. You will be duplicating it 3 times through-out the tutorial..
Duplicate once (Keyboard Control and drag mouse) now and click on your Material
box on the Attribute bar. |
You can add
a shadow effect to the trim in order to give it some definition. Or you can use
a different color usually a shade darker. Use the Preview under the Material
Button for fast results. |

Change the bevel to 3d Pipe/Bevel- Border:2, Depth:10. You
can leave it placed on top of the ceiling. Save as an object in your Image
Gallery. |
