“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say,
'I used everything you gave me'." |

I love life
|
I find sheer joy in living- to
be able to enjoy |
the first rays of the sun, the glow of a firefly, the scent of earth after
the first rains, the hum of the sea in a conch, Or the smell of a freshly powdered baby!
|
Living life to the fullest is hence my long-term goal. Everything I do
endeavors to bring me closer to that goal. |

Dancing is my 'passion'...
|
The exhilaration and the euphoria I feel during a performance are
indescribable. Though I have not been professionally trained for a prolonged period, the classical dance classes I took as a child has
definitely paid-off well. Even though I do not practice it anymore, I would like to take up classical dancing sometime in the future.
For now, I stick to non-classical styles. But the hours of practice, the feeling of camaraderie with your fellow teammates, the synch of
movements, the rhythm and the beat of music- all of it culminates to a mind-blowing experience!
Some people are born with a
silver spoon in their mouth…well I think I was born with a mike! Once I’m given a microphone, it will have to be ‘surgically removed’
to get it off my hands! I enjoy compeering as much as I love to talk. Story-telling too is a favourite pastime… provided I have an
audience!
I was lucky to be given the role of Organizer for many inter-collegial and national events. I believe that I have been
able to carry out the job entrusted to me with reasonable success.
Reading is my favourite pastime; and books- I cannot live
without. This hobby has helped me cultivate a healthy imagination [and a thirst for ingenious plots!]
Last but not the least;
I love people- the human race. The various cultures, the diverse traditions, the subtle yet momentous distinctions that differentiate
one individual from the other intrigue me. I enjoy travelling and am keen on learning about the mores and customs of distinct lands(
and their recipes for exotic dishes!) |
