![]() ![]() My Special Angel Sung by Bobby Vinton ![]() ![]() What I remember about Dwayne best was his love of people. He held no grudges against anyone and he was a generous soul. He seemed to be a workaholic, but the money he made he shared with his friends. He really did push himself too hard. He couldn't stand to see anyone unhappy, even if he had just met you, he would get in your face and cutup until you at least smiled. His greatest desire was spiritual knowledge. He would sit for hours with his grandfather, my husband and sometimes me too, talking about Bible stories and parables and what they meant. He told us once that he could never lay down and go to sleep without first praying forgiveness. His next goal in life was to make my daughter Wendy happy. He loved her beyond reason and would do anything she asked within reason. He would have followed her anywhere, but he wouldn't let her get away with nonsense. If he had lived he would have married her. Dwayne was with us for only three years. We loved him like a son and we miss him terribly. Dwayne didn't drink but his friends did. I saw him suffer agony for hours, rather than take his prescribed pain medication after a previous auto accident. We think he died trying to save his friend.
One of my most special memories of Dwayne was that he liked my Tchaikovsky CD About Dwayne A poem by his mom SON Family & Friends Photos Love from Wendy ![]() |
