The Guild's Philosophy
The Tailor and Couturiere's Guild is for all those interested in developing sewing skills. These skills should be developed with an eye for quality. During the Middle Ages only by apprenticing yourself to a guild could you become a practitioner of a craft. Skill, quality, and artistry of craft were all examined closely.

In the same way, the Tailor and Couturiere's Guild is established to provide an opportunity for all those interested in sewing to study, experiment, and craft items under the tutelage of masters.

Tailors and seamstresses today are very knowledgeable concerning the current fashions. It was the same 800 years ago. As a part of the Tailor and Couturiere's Guild, each member will strive to produce authentic period articles. Constant research and study will result in increasingly authentic garments of the finest quality that will elevate the Royal Order of Chivalry.

Lady Adella "the Steadfast", a Master Couturiere, is the founder of the Tailors Guild and has been granted peerage as the Baroness of the Tailor's and Couturiere's Guild by His Royal Majesty Prince Sir William "the Wise" on the first day of February in the year of our Lord, one-thousand, nine hundred and ninety-four.
