Cool Websites

This web page is not rowing related, but will just contain any websites that I feel are interesting, weird or just plain wonderful.  If you have any sites you feel people will be interested in looking at, then either e-mail their URL to or post them on the Boat Club message board.

At the top of this page I have put the usual rowing websites, but underneath are some more obscure sites.

The Rowing Service The rower's resource on the internet.  New information will keep you informed of races and results http://users.ox.ac.uk/~quarrell
The University Rowing League Results, challanges and fantasy league for inter-university rowing http://www.rowleague.org.uk/
David Biddulph's Rowing Pages Diary of races and some links to results http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/david_biddulph/rowing.htm
Top 100 Rowing Sites List of rowing sites around the world http://www.top100.rowing.org.uk/top100/index.html

At present the list is rather short.  So I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

www.Coxless4.com        This is the website for the Regrave, Pinsent, Foster and Cracknell 4 who won gold in Sydney.  It has some nice java graphics and a fun frogger type game that will be useful to all you budding coxes out there.

www.nasa.gov        This site has many great places to go and is thoroughly recommended.  It is not just for science geeks.  This are some great satellite images of the recent storms that have hit us.  There is also a movie of the storm moving across Europe, but I recommend that you view this when you are on campus as it will take a long time to down load.  This is the best picture and shows the first storm that hit us.

www.jaguar.co.uk        This is a great looking site, with some good stuff on the new Jaguar X series.  Bit blokey though.
