I enjoy hiking...it's just a nice way to enjoy nature and get exercise at the same time. I wasn't into hiking until about I think it was the summer of '96 when my friend Mindy, took my sister and I to Mt. Pilchuck, WA. It was about a three mile hike one way. I remember having to look for these yellow paw prints that led the way up. It was fun. There's a bunch of huge rocks along the way too. At the top, you have to climb over some big boulders and there's a lookout cabin. It's nice at the top...the view is spectacular especially on a clear day. So after that I was pretty much hooked on hiking. It's fun going to the different places and seeing new things.
Over the years now...I've been on a bunch of hikes. Here's a list of the hikes I've done:
These were in the granite falls area in WA:
Mt. Pilchuck
Lake 22
Heather Lake
Mt. Forgotten Meadows
Mt. Dickerman
In the Leavenworth area in WA:
Part of the Enchantments - Nada and Snow Lakes
Part of Stuart Lake - attempted to backpack there but didn't get too far because of too much snow.
Along I-90 in WA:
Mt. Si
Tiger Mountain
In the Gifford Pinchot National Forest:
Dog Mountain in Stevenson, WA
In Oregon:
Multnomah Falls
Beacon Rock
Saddle Mountain
