Our Mission

Safe Haven exists to provide an environment of growth for teens by encouraging them to positively influence their peers, families, and community.

The most exciting aspect of this ministry is that this was not something adults sat down and planned, but rather the teens came to us. The teens that we are ministering to, do not fit into the established social system. Most of them come from broken homes, have dropped out of church and some have dropped out of school. We believe these teens can be role models for their peers because they display natural leadership abilities. Our hope is that by investing in these teens now, their abilities can be redirected towards a positive influence, not only with their peers, but also with their community.

One of the principles we try to adhere to is to not do anything for the teens that they can do for themselves, these teens not hang in the cafe but they also help!
Our primary aim and goal is to present the love of Christ to these teens in a way that they can see it and feel it. Many of these teens have been wounded and we want them to feel loved as they are, not with any pretense.


And if he finds the missing sheep, he is happier about that one sheep then about the
ninety-nine that did not wander off.
In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones
should be lost. (Matthew 18:10-14)
