Learners

This lesson is designed for K-12 learners in an Ancient History Co-Operative Homeschooling Community. Lower grammar students will need parent/older sibling  assistance and Upper level grammar dialectic and rhetoric students can work independently or in a small group.

I attended my first "Festival" at the close of my high school French class. We all brought French food ( I vaguely remember tasting Escargo) and we all shared in a French fashion review, some students read poetry, and or shared about other cultural aspects of France. It must have made an impression on me as I started doing these festivals as semester culminations when I taught in the regular public classroom. With a few adjustments, a teacher can pull off a delightful event.  It would be helpful to co-op with another teacher and or parents, but it can be done solo as well.
