Student's Hostel of Science College, Patna
There are Five Student's Hostel in the college campus. They are with no. of seats: -

All are the Boys Hostel. There is G.D.S. Girls Hostel
governed by the
Patna University, in which few seats are reserved for the girls students
of the college. Seats are allocated on the basis of the
academic performance of the student, which is decided by the committee
of the college.
Rules of the Hostel:------->
- All the applications will be submitted in the office of the Principal.
Admission in the Hostel depends on the approval of the the
concerned college committee and acceptance of the Princiapl.
The student will be admitted in the hostel for one academic year only.
There is no guarantee the student may get seat the next year also.
The admission in the hostel fully depends on the academic perfromance
of the student. Following facts are considered while a student is allocated
a seat in the hostel: -
- Performance of the student in the celebrations of national
importance organized in the college besides his/her academic achievments.
- Performance of the student in the games & sports and NCC activites.
- If the student was ex-hosteler, then previous record.
Decision of the allocation of the seat will be taken as follows: -
- For the students of First Year (I.Sc), Marks in the Secondary Exam.
- For the students of B.Sc.(Part-I), Marks in the I.Sc. Exam.
- For the students of M.Sc., Marks in the B.Sc.(Hons.)Exam.
- For the students of I.Sc.(IInd Year) and B.Sc., Marks in the last exam.
- If a student does not appear in the one or more examiantion, then
it will be understood that he/she is exempted from these exams. The
condition is only that the hosteler has to submit a certificate in the
Principal office taken from the Hostel Suprintendent that he/she was
unable to attend the exam. due to "this cause".
The students, whose guradians reside in Patna and they have adequate
residential facility in Patna, then it may be possible that they will not
be allotted the seat in the hostel.
