Alrin has auburn hair which she keeps tied up in a ponytail, calm gray eyes, and a small scar down the side of her face. She wears wherry-hide jackets and boots most of the time. Large for a woman, she has tanned skin. Her voice is slightly hoarse, but pleasing.

Personal Information: Alrin has been described as a source of strength by many. Calm, steady, and unchanging, she reacts to everything with an analytical eye. Her method is to go through life slowly, untangling the complex morass.

Her piercing gray eyes can force a confession out of any troublesome rider if she sits and stares at them long enough. Alrin has some experience in running a weyr. However, her biggest flaw is the fact that she tends to overanalyze, leading her to wrong conclusions sometimes.

History: Alrin was born in Ista Weyr to a brown rider and a drudge whom he had settled upon as a one night stand after his dragon lost the competition for weyrleadership.

After two years with her mother, she was fostered out to the Headwoman. The Headwoman taught her the knack of organization and leading a team. She had a fairly happy childhood, running wild about the weyr.

When she turned ten, a caravan of traders passing through left behind a firelizard egg. She took care of it, and out hatched green Lyren.

At seventeen, she was Searched. Alrin stood on the sands, locking eyes with the gold that hatched. Impression occurred. With her newly discovered lifemate, Xianeth, the two threw themselves into weyrling training.

They passed with flying colors, but then they were told that they needed to transfer. They did so, arriving at Scyjavor in time to set up house.

Xianeth is a live wire compared to her stolid rider. Still young, she is curious about everything and everyone, sticking her nose into every new situtation, regardless if it ends up being a bad decision in the end.
