Physical Appearance: Palawan is a fairly pretty girl, although nothing too terribly special. Golden brown hair, slightly wavy, used to reach down to her back, but she cut it to her shoulderblades upon arriving at Scyjavor, something that she's deeply regretting. Her eyes are large and blue, framed by long, if somewhat pale, lashes. Naturally pink cheeks and dimples give her a sweet, easy-going face.

The one thing Palawan despairs about the most is her build- she's 5' 8", and running somewhat on the plump side. She's firmly convinced that she's larger than she truly is, and has attempted some half-hearted diets, but none ever worked. Palawan, though, doesn't know that despite her somewhat large build, she has a decent amount of womanly attributes that at least draw men's glances. Dresses conservatively, although in pants, having grown accustomed to them at the Crafthall.

Personal Information: Palawan is a bright, intelligent girl who learns quickly, even when she doesn't try. The problem is that, as a procrastinator, she typically doesn't try, and can memorize something in five minutes, but only for a short time. She tends to get aggrivated to the point of tears whens he doesn't understand something or answers questions incorrectly, yet that is no motivation to her. It usually takes something drastic to make her do something immediately, and that's only if she remembers what it is she was supposed to do- Palawan has extremely selective memory.

She is having some doubts about being a dragonrider, and not just because of the "immoral" Weyr life that she does not accept. Palawan has seen scored riders and dragons, and is not sure if she wants to risk her life to protect Pern whenever there are so many others who are jumping to do it. However, she is standing not just because of the wishes of her family, but also that she can continue her craft rather than marrying.

History: Palawan was craft born and raised, with little contact outside of the Beastcraft Hall during her lifetime. Her parents, both kitchen workers, had several other children, most of whom were Apprenticed to the Beastcraft at an early age. Palawan was no exception, but showed a talent and a love for healing the creatures rather than just working with them. A Mastercrafter with expertise in that area took her on as an Apprentice, and she excelled in her craft.

Unbeknowst to her, Palawan had been Searched for Long River Weyr when she was twelve years of age, but her parents declined, something that probably saved her life. However, after the disaster at Long River Weyr, her parents agreed to allow her to go when she was Searched a second time.

Abilities: Steered towards healing, Palawan is an adept apprentice who has problems with hurting the animals, even if it will eventually cure them (resetting bones, etc). Cries when she sees any animal put down, something that rapidly becomes annoying.

Name: Cuinnsearth Color: Gold Age: Newly hatched Description: A smaller, sunlight-colored gold, Cuinnsearth is delicate, if somewhat clumsy. Nothing too remarkable about her physical appearance, the real intrigue lies in her emotions. Cuinnsearth is a very shy, unsure gold who acts nothing like most in her color do.
