Bambarakanda Ella Falls
The tallest in the island. It is 263m (863ft) in height and
flowing from the Horton planes. The stream is always of this
size, but the beauty rests on the fact that the whole stream moves
to and fro by the very strong winds blowing across...... a scenario
worth the 5km ride (there is a good motorable road up to the fall)
off main road A-4. The road is narrow and has to be droved
carefully.
We went up to the water fall.....had a bath .....There is a pond
just beneath the fall, but we didn't try our luck...ha ha..
This is another view of the this beauty.
Taken from the foot of the fall and covering the sunlight and the
water spray that dampen my camera......a difficult but ....isn't
this view has a different feeling?....a freshness in the morning air.....please write to me
