Kirindi Ella Falls This
large waterfall situated in the Pelmadulla village and counted among
the tallest in the island. It is 116m (381ft) tall with a wide
body. Now
there is a good motorable road leading up to the waterfall and a cement
staircase to descend down to the edge of the fall. The
name may come from the fact that the water fall look like a collection
of necklaces made of "Kirindi" beads
Pradeepa. One
can get a glimpse of this waterfall from A-4 road just beyond Palmadulla
town.
