Dear Marc Racicot:
RE: Your Republican Fundraising Request

June 24, 2002 700pm

Marc Racicot, Chairman
Republican National Committee

Dear Marc Racicot:

RE: Your Republican Fundraising Request

RINO at the RNCI received your fund raising letter and appeal recently to contribute to the Republican Party. I was with President Bush and was onboard the Bush-Cheney 2000 jet here in Orlando the day before election 2000. As you well know in order to have that privilege, I worked extremely hard for President Bush during the campaign.

I am declining your request to contribute to fundraising efforts.

In your letter, you state that he needs our support to further his agenda of:

1] "An education policy where no child is left behind."

President Bush funded the corrupt Education Department at TRIPLE the rate of inflation. No effort was made to reverse the inept NEA run administration, fire lousy teachers, and set standards. Just the other day, West Palm Beach students could pass their American History class with a score of 23%! And you want to continue this? I will not contribute for your continued move into a statist form of government.

2] "A secure retirement for all Americans."

Retirement programs are supposed to be self-funded in a land of liberty. A secure retirement is not a function of the government for a country with freedom and opportunity. Because you continue to push us deeper into socialism, I will not contribute.

3] "A smaller, less costly government."

Are you really joking in a fundraising letter? Both of Bush's budgets grew the government far faster than the rate of inflation. Giving $5 billion dollars to fight a bottomless pit of "global poverty" after U.S. shareholders loss $5 trillion in a stock market crash? Spending $2.8 billion for "teacher quality programs" when teachers should be fired if their quality is not up to standards. Signing the "Brownfields Bill" that was a 104% increase over the previous year when inflation is running less than 3%! The litany of social waste is a mile long and I have it all documented, Mr. Racicot. I will not contribute for these reasons.

4] "A strong national defense"

The FBI Director, the VP, and the Secretary of Defense have all stated the terrorists WILL get their hands on a nuke, WILL use it on us, and "there is nothing we can do about it." There IS something we can do about it Mr. Racicot, but your administration is spending money on social waste and foreign waste (like giving $325 million to Afghanistan to fight hunger when Afghan farmers grow poppies for the opium drug trade) instead of spending this money on improving the FBI, the CIA, the Coast Guard, the border patrol agents, . . . you are not spending enough on defending our nation. You are too focused on spending on social/foreign waste.

For these reasons, I will not give you one penny. I am sorry I wasted your cost of the postage paid return envelope that you will be charged to tell you this. The postage paid envelope said that by using my own first class postage, I would help you save "much needed funds". Then again, I am not sorry since on 2/27/02, President Bush in a speech said:

"I want to insist Congress hold the line in spending, that they not get carried away, that they not spend . . ." Less than ten seconds later, President Bush said " My budget calls for over $17 billion a year for TANF funds [ Welfare ] to be block-granted back to states."

If you had any leadership ability, you would be listing these items I mentioned here in the letter you sent to the Party members (along with hundreds of others) saying you plan on reversing course. Then, I would have contributed. As it is, the Party is contributing to the destruction of America. Since I am a tax slave for six months of the year, since my wages for those six months are sent to Washington, and since we face a grave national security risk but the Republicans are spending money on social/foreign waste like a drunken liberal instead of on the defense of our nation, you can pay for the postage, not me.
