  Baby home #1

The baby home #1 was founded in 1945 gave initially shelter for babies from 3 months to 3 years old.

Since 1945 up till now 5000 babies have been given love and care in the baby home.

Even though at present the baby home is designed for 60 there are 100 children but due to the financial problems 2 group rooms have been under prolonged repair so the rest the babies are squeezed into 4 left group rooms.

Bedroom for babies afflicted with cerebral palsy.

In the baby home there is a group of disabled children suffering mainly from cerebral palsy who are never adopted and at the age of 5 years they are transferred to a home for disabled people.

But most of the the children find home either in russian or oversee families.

The personnel of the baby home is 100 strong including maintenance staff: an electrician cook, a janitor, a driver, laundresses and so on. There are 2 speech therapist 29 nurses and 25 caregivers on the stuff. 17 more caregivers are needed but the pay is too low and therefore the caregivers have to work overtime to provide children with proper care.

Physiotherapeutical room.

The babies are under constant medical control. They receive a regular treatment in physiotherapy room which has an inhaler, an amplipulse,an electrophoretic and an air-electric therapeutical apparatuses, an old quartz lamp, a japanize foot bubble massage and ultra high frequency equipment.
