Equipments
One of the basic requirements
for a cricketer is his equipment. There is a popular misconception that cricket
equipment is expensive and this precludes the playing of the game to some extent.
The cost of equipment varies considerably and every need can be catered for with
the less expensive kit without detracting in any way from the enjoyment of the
game. Of all the items of cricketing equipment, however, it is quite obvious that
bats and balls hold the most special place in history. Through these traditional
" tools of the trade" and those that use them, the game of today has been moulded.
