My Daughter's Poems
As we Live Our Life Each Day
As the world turns round and round
There are many people to be found
Whether in one place or around the world
Good and bad will give your life a whirl
For as much as we live our life each day
Rest assured, the good souls will light the way
Even through times when only bad seem to exist
Thoughts of those good at heart only insists
That we ignore the negativity of those around
Who are unsure and feel the need to compound
The little bits of hate and ignorance as one
With strong hearts, we can always go on.
For we only have ourselves to show
That life can be good as we have always known
But if we choose to live life in misery.
Life will never feel fulfilled but tormented eternity.

I'll Remember You
You know all along, you had the key,
Now here I lay, the wall and me.
It's hard to believe you did it again,
Now it's time for my heart to mend.
I'm tired of all your lines,
It's been done too many times.
You're forever in my heart,
Though now we must stay apart.
Do you still think of me,
Even though you're with her again.
Because I'm tired now,
To even just pretend.
I'm hanging up my boxing gloves,
I'm tired of fighting you.
I'll see ya later baby,
Because it's time to start new.
I'll see you in heaven my dearest sweetheart,
I'm just sorry it all had fallen apart.
