Women, who are we?
Why we are God's gift to men.
"We are the salt of the earth" We are "Wives"

We are the wives who vowed to honor and obey
plus a lot more. We are the women
who get up early to fix our husbands
breakfast. After we kiss them good by and
"have a nice day" as they go out the door.
Now to the dishes and clean up the kitchen.

Now we begin the rest of our day with cleaning
the house, running to the store for this
and that, stopping off at the dry cleaners,
getting groceries and to hurry home.
Yes! We still have a couple of things
left to be done.

Already! It is back into the kitchen again
to fix supper for the home bound husband.
Hi Dear! How was your day? Sitting at
the dinner table, we may hear the traffic
report that our husbands traveled through,
or he may even be the 5 day weather
forcaster. Well! dinner is over quicker
than it took time to cook. Back into the
kitchen again to do the dishes and clean up
the mess. More things to do! Ahh! all is done,
and now to relax, only to find out that
it's time to go to bed.

"Women"
We are the salt of the earth.
We are mothers.

Together husband and wife shared the
fruit and now there will be three. So!
the stork left us a bundle of blue or a
bundle of pink! Now we mothers begin.

As mothers, we now feed, change diapers,
cuddle and coo to our new borns.
We probably even rock them to sleep, or even
walk the floor when the don't feel good
running fevers and etc. We wash the daily
dozen diapers, (if no pampers) make bottles,
bath and goodness so much more.

Children are growing and now in school. What
would kids do without mothers? We now
have become as well as doctors and guessers
of what's wrong, the chaufuer, the teacher,
the tear wipers and even the arbitrator.
We also are the hurry up moms when
the yell goes "I'm in a hurry" or please
do this quick. Our little bundles of joy now
come to us for comfort when our daughters
have a first time breakup love. We wipe their
tear and cuddle them and probably say
"You are young and there will be many more
to come until the one who stays".
We will be there when our sons tell
us they are on the football team, or there
is this great gal he met and now
going steady with.

Now the time has come
when the kids are grown and doing for
themselves. They now work and have probably left
the nest to venture on their own.
"Women"
We are the salt of the earth.
We are grandmothers.

Golly! Our children have grown. They have
finished school, support themselves and now they
have married, and yes, they have made
us "Grandmothers". We can now start all
over again when the grandchildren visit us.
We can hug our grandchildren, love them,
spoil them and buy all kinds of goodies.
We wipe some tears away when mommy or
daddy say no. Try as we may not to,
we also volunter sound advise, which of
course we have experienced, but is not
needed. Again we watch as children grow and
become what they may.

Yes, Ladies
We are the salt of the earth.
We are wives, mothers and grandmothers.

THE TRADE
A man was sick and tired of going to
work every day while his wife stayed
home. He wanted her to see what he
went through so he prayed, "Dear Lord, I
go to work every day and put in 8 hours
while my wife merely stays at home.
I want her to know what I go through,
so please create a trade in our
bodies." God, in his infinite wisdom,
granted the man's wish.
The next morning, sure enough, the man
awoke as a woman. He arose, cooked
breakfast for his mate, awakened the kids,
set out their school clothes, fed
them breakfast, packed their lunches,
drove them to school, came home and
picked up the dry cleaning, took it to the
cleaners and stopped at the bank
to draw out money to pay the power bill
and telephone bill, drove to the
power company and the phone company
and paid the bills, went grocery
shopping, came home and put away the
groceries. He cleaned the cat's litter
box and bathed the dog. Then it was
already 1 p.m. and he hurried to make
the beds, do the laundry, vacuum, dust,
and sweep and mop the kitchen floor.
Ran to the school to pick up the kids and
got into an argument with them on
the way home. Set out cookies and milk
and got the kids organized to do
their homework, then set up the ironing
board and watched TV while he did
the ironing. At 4:30 he began peeling
potatoes and washing greens for salad,
breaded the pork chops and snapped
fresh beans for supper. After supper he
cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher,
folded laundry, bathed the kids,
and put them to bed. At 9 p.m. he was
exhausted and, though his daily chores
weren't finished, he went to bed where
he was expected to make love -- which
he managed to get through without complaint.
The next morning he awoke and immediately
knelt by the bed and said, "Lord,
I don't know what I was thinking. I was
so wrong to envy my wife's being
able to stay home all day. Please,
oh please, let us trade back."
The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied,
"My son, I feel you have learned
your lesson and I will be happy to change
things back to the way they were.
You'll have to wait 9 months, though.
You got pregnant last night.

God's Message to Women
When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being.
When I created man, I formed him and
breathed life into his nostrils. But you, woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life
into man because your nostrils are too
delicate. I allowed

Man was put to sleep so that he could not
interfere with the creativity. From one bone
I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects
man's life. I chose the rib, which protects
his heart and lungs and supports him,
as you are meant to do. Around this one bone
I shaped you. I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully.
Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet
delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most
delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart
is the center of his being; his lungs hold the
breath of life.

The rib cage will allow itself to be broken
before it will allow damage to the heart.
Support man as the rib cage supports the body.
You were not taken from his feet, to be under
him, nor were you taken from his head, to be
above him. You were taken from his side, to stand
beside him and be held close to his side.

You are my perfect angel, my beautiful little girl.
You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence,
and my eyes fill when I see the virtues in
your heart. Your eyes are beautiful. Your lips, how lovely
when they part in prayer. Your nose, so perfect in form,
your hands so gentle to touch. I've caressed your face in
your deepest sleep; I've held your heart
close to mine. Of all that lives and breathes,
you are the most like me. Adam walked with me
in the cool of the day and yet he was
lonely. He could not see me or touch me. He
could only feel me. So everything I wanted Adam
to share and experience with me, I fashioned in you:
my holiness, my strength, my purity, my love,
my protection and support.

You are special because you are the extension
of me. Man represents my image - Woman, my emotions.
Together, you represent the totality of God.

So man, treat woman well. Love her, respect her, for
she is fragile. In hurting her, you hurt me. What
you do to her, you do to me. In hurting
her, you only damage your own heart, the heart of
your Father, and the heart of her Father.

Woman, support man. In humility, show him the
power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness
show your strength. In love, show him that you are
the rib that protects his inner self.

Did you know that WOMAN was so special in God's eyes?

Female Humor Now I lay me
Down to sleep.
I pray the Lord
My shape to keep.
Please no wrinkles
Please no bags
And please lift my butt
Before it sags.
Please no age spots
Please no gray
And as for my belly,
Please take it away.
Please keep me healthy
Please keep me young,
And thank you Dear Lord
For all that you've done.
