Interview of Ms.Jones
by Jennifer Fisher
- To what extent do you think the pshycological damage would be to a person who just lost a parent?
Depression and anger.
- Would that damage be increased if at the exact same time that person had to deal with a new step-parent?
Yes, it would.
- What if that same person found that there had been foul play involved in the dead parent's death?
Yes, it would definatly increase more.
- Let's say, that the person this person is to marry is to told to go away, what state of mind do you think the person being told to go away would have?
They'd be in deep depression.
- What can cause a person to go insane?
Drugs, alcohol and heredity.
Referring to question #3, what if they found out that the person who married their parent had been the one that killed the other parent?
It could cause extreme violence and anger and it to would increase the pshycological damage done already.
- Would you say that this person might have an inclination to become insane or try to commit suicide?
Yes, possibly suicide but not insanity.
- How would you tell them to deal with these problems in a positive way?
Well since I'm religous, I'd tell them to ask god to take care of them.
- What if this person had no one to turn to, no one at all, no friends or anyone they could trust. How would you expect them to deal with these conditions.
I would expect them to have a much harder time dealing with it.
- What physical things can cause insanity?
The only thing I can think of is syhilis.
- Do you think insanity can lead to suicide or murder?
Yes, but its really based on the individual.
- How closely do you think insanity, suicide and murder are linked, if at all?
Not vary closly.
- Referring to question #6, do you think that once this person found out that the new step-parent was the murderer of your first parent, that he or she would try to take things into their own hands and possibly commit murder themselves?
Sure
- How do you think this person would be like in another ten years?
It depends on the individual, he could of forgiven or he could of become bitter towards everything.
- Would you say that they were insane?
No
- Referring to question #4, would you say that when they find the one that's been told to go away dead in a river and it looks like suicide, would you say it was suicide or murder by the one who told them to go away.
I'd have to say suicide.
- Do you think that the person with all these problems would be more inclined to commit suicide or murder?
It's possible for both but I think they'd be more inclined to commit suicide.
- Have you read Hamlet?
Too, too long ago.
- If not, then would you ever want to read it?
Yes, since I only have the gist of it in my memory.
