ShelB392's Funnel Cake

Ingredients
*1 egg
*1 1/4 cups of flour
*2 tablespoons sugar
*1 teaspoon baking powder
*1/4 teaspoon salt
*2/3 cup milk
*1/4 cup powdered sugar
*2 cups oil for frying
*Funnel

Method
1. In a large bowl, beat egg on low speed with electric mixer. Add the dry ingredients except for powdered sugar and mix together with a wooden spoon.
2. Add the milk to the mixture gradually, and beat it with an electric mixer on low speed until it looks smooth and creamy.
3. In a medium-sized frying pan, heat the oil.
4. Using a funnel, pour the batter through the funnel and into the oil and swirl the batter with a wooden spoon in a circlar motion. The more batter you pour into the funnel, the bigger the cake. (I never could have guessed this one...)
5. Cook for about 2 minutes, then turn the funnel cake over with a spatula and cook the other side for 2 minutes.
6. Set each funnel cake on a paper towel to eliminate any extra oil.
7. Put the funnel cakes onto a plate, and sprinkle a little powdered sugar on each one. (Or if you're like me, load it with sugar)

And one last thing, never dispose of the oil through the kitchen drain, or any drain, unless you want plumbing problems.

Deadparrotjup's MAGIC BARS!! (which are the greatest, and which, apparently, my grandmother used to send to my mom when she was in college)

Ingredients

*one package of graham crackers (like the plastic ones, not an entire box)
* 1 stick of butter (melted)
* 1 cup chocolate chips
* 1 cup chopped nuts
* 1 cup coconut shavings
* 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
* 13" x 9 x 2 pan

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F)
2. POUND THOSE GRAHAM CRACKERS TO DEATH. Or at least until they're in crumbs. I suggest doing this either in a bowl or in the pan.
2. Dump the graham cracker crumbs and the melted butter into the pan. Stir around, and pat down so they cover the entire bottom of the pan.
3. Dump the chocolate chips and chopped nuts in an even layer on top of that, and the coconut on top of that.
4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk on so it covers everything else pretty well--that's what holds it together.
5. Bake for 25 minutes. Let it cool, as it will be really gooey and fall apart if you don't, although it tastes pretty good anyways.

THE ONLY THING RHOSWEN CAN COOK COMPETENTLY (UNLESS SHE'S NOT PAYING ATTENTION; BUT THAT'S NOT THE INGREDIENTS' FAULTS!): SUPER-DUPER STIR FRY!

Ingredients

* Peppers of all colors (and I mean bell peppers; red, yellow, orange, green, etc.)
* Snow peas in the pouches still; the crunchy ones
* Baby corn (the little corns, usually you get them in a can)
* Broccolli (if you like it)
* Carrots
* Water chestnuts (BLUERGH!!! But if you like them... go ahead)
* Chicken breasts (one or two usually suffices- or the Vegetarian option leaves them out!)
* Rice (whatever kind you want, sticky rice works, as does normal lovely fluffy white rice, or whole grain if you're into that)
* Sesame oil
* Water
* Ginger, salt, paprika, sesame seeds if you wish, garlic powder/onion powder, SOY SAUCE

Directions

1. Start the rice(let cook while you do the rest)
2. Cut up the chicken breasts; you can do cubes, strips, stars, whatever, just cut it up!
3. You need a skillet. Put this skillet on your burner and put the heat up... marginally high. Throw water at it until the water hizzes and sizzles, then put a dollop of oil on, if the oil does the same, add the chicken.
4. WATCH THE CHICKEN! Use a spatula to move it around, mix it up. It doesn't take long for it to cook and it gets tough if you don't pay attention. Cut pieces in half to judge readiness, you want it just a TINGE pink.
5. After the above, stir in your veggies, it's okay to turn the heat down a little now, with the chicken, and add a little more oil. Use that spatula to stir it.
6. Add your spices, whatever you want, for taste; I recommend AT LEAST soy sauce or salt. Ginger does wonders.
7. If you're not serving it all at once, LOWER THE HEAT!
8. Serve stir-fry on top of your rice for a pretty as well as TASTY meal.

THINGS TO NOT FORGET:
- DO NOT OVERDO THE OIL (This is the kiss of death)
- WATCH THE CHICKEN
- DON'T GO CRAZY WITH THE SPICES, THEM PLUS THE SESAME OIL MIGHT BE DISGUSTING
