Shero of the Month

Every once in awhile, we see a woman (or man!) who demonstrates what Sheroes is all about. A true leader. So someone scribbles an article and we read about them. Amazing, isn't it? These people did so much, the least you can do is read a bit about them. You might open your eyes to a whole new world!

Nellie Bly (October 2005) - An amazing female investigative reporter that traveled around the world in seventy-two days, six hours, eleven minutes, and fourteen seconds.

Murasaki Shikibu (September 2005) - Author of the first known novel, born in 973 BCE

Judy Blume (August 2005) - Pioneered Young Adult fiction

Danica Patrick (July 2005) - One of the few women who qualified for the Indy 500

Hayley Wickenheiser (June 2005) - One of the top professional women's hockey players in the world
