What is the backstory to the 'Zine?
Well back in 2002, Reem created the zine. She came up with the idea after seeing countless of threads complaining about magazines these days, such as Dolly, Cosmopolitan, Girlfriend, etc...So she thought, since we can do so much of a better job, why don't we? We understand the minds of teens, so why don't we. Thus, the zine was created. But due to some unfortunate events, I'm not too sure if it was global warming or PMS, the 'Zine vanished. Not quite "vanished" but it didn't continue. Then on a wintry spring day in 2005, Alice began to revive SheroesFans where the Zine slumbered. She managed to bring together a group of girls, some who remembered when the 'Zine was called Sheroic Edge and others who never heard of it. The 'Zine changed hands. Sheroic Edge became S.H.E.R.O.E.S. and once again the wheels were turning, the pages flipping and the mice clicking.

What is the web address to the 'Zine?
The website address for the S.H.E.R.O.E.S. 'Zine is www.oocities.org/sheroes_zine. But you are here, so why do you need it?

How can I add my bio to the staff page?
There are no longer going to be anymore bios added to the Staff page, unless you make a large contribution to the 'Zine. You will be credited for your work with a link to your Sheroes Central or 'Fans Memember Information Page.

What is this "Contact List" I'm hearing about?
The Contact List was used mainly by the Slave Driver (Nilatao) and the Editors (Sam, Rhae, and Ally). This is so that we know who submissions are coming from, who to send out reminders to, and how to get a hold of people. Now the list isn't used at all. If you would like to be notified when writers are needed or when there has been an update to the 'Zine, add your email address by using the mailing list.

Who is in charge of what?
The writers for the 'Zine are mainly highschoolers, and as you know, students have a lot going on. Nilatao organizes the website, puts everything on here, and bugs others to write. There are a few editors, and some people who do graphics.

How do I get assigned a topic?
Topics are not assigned unless you want to write for the 'Zine but do not have an idea of your own.

How do I submit my work?

As soon as you are done, turn it in. Pretty simple. No deadlines. We know you have school work.

Where is everyone getting banners from?
Liz was making banners for everyone. A request was sent out to banner makers and she took it upon herself (how selfless) to make banners. There's a basic template that everyone has, different colors, different fonts, different names/titles.

How do I get a banner?
You can reply to her thread on banners or PM her asking nicely to make you a banner.

Can I make my own banner?
Of course you can. There will be banner contests for just S.H.E.R.O.E.S. banners, not personalized banner soon. But you are free to make your own banner.

Are there banners for people not on staff?
As of now, no. After the banner contests, yes.

What are the banners used for?
Many people put the banners into their siggies. The 'Zine also uses them on the person's biography.

How do I link my banner in my siggy to S.H.E.R.O.E.S.?
If not already uploaded to a server, then upload it. If you are only using it for your siggy, then using Sherofans is okay (not hotlinking to other websites). Then put this into your siggy and replace the <> with brackets. ADDRESS OF YOUR BANNER If you want it for other purposes, please upload it to your own server.
